We offer a fixed price repair for this fault.

 You may have seen on the internet that this is a common fault with certain models of Toshiba LCD TVs and some brave folk attempt their own repair. But BEWARE! If you dont know exactly what you are doing you can easily ruin your TV and then even we wont be able to repair it for you! Not to mention the risk of a fatal electric shock! Did you know that even after a TV has been unpluged for weeks in some cases the TV can retain a charge that could ruin your day!

* Providing that:

No one else has attempted to repair this fault

No other faults are on the TV after repair

The TV has not been dropped or damaged by any impact

The TV has not been subjected to any liquid ingress

The set has not been tampered with in any way whatsoever or had panels removedfrom inside

The set only shows the symptom of dead with no standby light / clicking and no other faults are or have been present.

If any of the above have occured upon our arrival and preliminary inspection then we reserve the right to not attempt the repair or to quote extra to complete the repair at our discression. An inspection fee will  be charged at the minimum £30 to cover costs. If the TV is still repairable then we will provide you with a cost to repair and be happy to deduct the £30 fee from this ammount. This service is for the above models of Toshiba LCD TVs only and is not applicable to plasmas or other makes or models. Please phone for details and to book your call.
